Year-End Deadlines (December, 2008)
Year-end deadlines, absent employees and increased seasonal demands mean that the holidays can be one of the busiest times of the year. Utilizing a staffing company is one way to alleviate these problems. In fact, according to the American Staffing Association, providing extra support during busy times or seasons is one of the main reasons that organizations utilize staffing companies. Rainmaker Staffing is ready to help you during the holidays.

Screening for Success (November, 2008)
Rainmaker Staffing’s mission to be extraordinary translates into the high standards we set for our applicants. We insist that all employees successfully complete our 11-step screening process. This includes interviewing, reference checking and skills testing to ensure that we hire only the most qualified employees. Our screening process is regularly evaluated via an independent audit. The results of this audit allow us to boast that we are WRC Certified, an IS0-9000 equivalent standard for the staffing industry.

Remember to keep it all professional, make costumes optional, issue basic rules (e.g., dress code limits to “sexy” costumes), ensure safety (e.g., limits to props such as fake weapons), be mindful of the religious origins of the holiday and discourage tricks that could scare others or be a safety hazard
